Rose D. (Dellaghelfa) Keesler

Litchfield- Rose D. Keesler, 95, passed away May 31, 2024, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Keesler.

        Mrs. Keesler was born in Torrington on May 31, 1929, daughter of the late John and Lucia (Leone) Dellaghelfa, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making pizzas and the best meatballs ever. Mrs. Keesler also enjoyed sewing, gardening, being outdoors and sitting in the sun, and most of all, caring for and babysitting her grandchildren.

        Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Keesler of Litchfield and Thomas W. Keesler and his wife, Ida, of Winchester; four daughters, Roseann K. Richard of Mims, FL, Jeanne Keesler of Becket, MA, Karen Keesler of Torrington, and Nancy Gray and her husband, Perry, of Torrington; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Keesler was predeceased by sons, John, Michael, Roger, and Danny Keesler.

        Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 12:00p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
