Shane R. Campbell

Torrington- Shane R. Campbell, 37, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home.

        Shane was born in Bridgeport on March 28, 1985, son of Vincent C. Campbell of Cromwell and the late Cynthia H. (Huckabee) Campbell, and had been a city resident the past 17 years. He was the proprietor of Campbell Transport Co., Torrington. Shane was a graduate of Brookfield High School. As an adult, Shane built his business, Campbell Transport and took great pride in his business. His strong work ethic, sense of humor and big heart made him a staple in the community. He was a valued father, son, grandson, brother and friend.

        Survivors include his father Vincent C. Campbell and his wife, Briana, of Cromwell; a son, Shawn D. Campbell of Torrington; two brothers, Ryan V. Campbell of Bethel, and Donald W. Campbell of Cromwell; two sisters, Lauren E. Haire and her husband, Justin, of New Milford, and Adrienne O. Campbell of Cromwell; his paternal grandfather, Robert F. Campbell of Brookfield; his former wife and friend, Kristen Campbell of Torrington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

        Calling Hours will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00p.m. during Calling Hours. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, will be private.
