Sibella B (Bonviso) Dokas

Kensington- Sibella B. Dokas, 95, passed away September 28, 2025. 

Mrs. Dokas was born in Meriden on December 25, 1929, daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (Cataldo) Bonviso. She was a retired Crib Attendant with Pratt and Whitney, retiring with nearly 20 years of service. She enjoyed scratch tickets, taking trips to the casino, and to the Plainfield Dog Track. In her younger years, she loved to sing, dance, and play guitar.

Survivors include two children, Raymond Dokas and Karen Dokas Pac and her husband, Glenn; two grandchildren, Ashley Pac and her fiance, Jason, and Valerie Gardiner and her husband, Mike; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Noah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Dokas was predeceased by her grandson, Matthew Pac; and 8 brothers and sisters.

Services and burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington, were held privately. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
