Theodore "Teddy" W. Barry

Torrington- Theodore “Teddy” W. Barry, 66, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at his home after a short battle with leukemia.

          Teddy was born in Torrington on February 8, 1954, son of the late Theodore R. and Jewel (White) Barry, and had been a lifelong city resident. He had been employed with LARC Industries, enjoyed music, dancing, and people watching.

          Survivors include a sister, Nancy Tedesco of Torrington; two brothers, James Barry of Torrington and Thomas Barry of Terryville; two nephews, Adam Barry and Christopher Barry; three nieces, Jennifer Guyette, Cara Tedesco, and Michelle Tedesco; and his friend and caregiver, Sharon Palmer and her family of Torrington.

          Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 11:00a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery, Whites Wood Rd., Litchfield. Family and friends attending are asked to please maintain social distancing guidelines. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
