Thomas James Fadoir, 78, passed away peacefully after a short illness on June 5, 2023, at home in Spring Branch, Texas.
Born October 14, 1944 in Torrington. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin M. Fadoir, Sr., and Alice (Becker) Fadoir; sister, Carole Reynolds; and brother, Joseph J. Fadoir, Sr.
Tom spent his younger years working the family farm, Sunnybrook. He graduated from Torrington High School and entered the Marine Corps. Tom owned Colonial Motors in Torrington and was a member of the Kuarter Klan Kar Klub. After, he attended Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX. Tom was a real estate broker for 35 years a partner with the Baldwin Company and was the owner of The Fadoir Company in Dallas, TX. He was a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives, InternationalOffice Parks, the National Association of Realtors, the Dallas Area Industrial Development Association, and the Dallas Gun Club.
Among his interests was his love for cars and travel, travelling the US, Canada, and Mexico in his truck and trailers. Tom also enjoyed fishing, cooking, skiing, camping, hunting, spending time at his home in San Miguel, MX, and spending time with his lifelong friends in CT, Texas and Mexico.
Thomas is survived by sister Annmarie J Davis Torrington, CT, brother Michael J Fadoir and wife Elaine (Forrest) of New Hartford, CT, brother Edwin M Fadoir Jr of Rogersville, TN and many nieces, nephews, and life long friends in CT, Texas and Mexico
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington, for both Thomas and his brother, Joseph.
