Tress Zamkovsky Obituary
Wimauma, FL- Tress M. Zamkovsky, 76, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Sun City Center Hospice House, Ruskin, FL. She was the wife of the late George P. Zamkovsky.
Tress was born in Hartford on November 30, 1944, daughter of the late Paul and Jeannette (Benjamin) Archambault, and had been a Torrington resident for many years before moving to Florida. She loved reading, cross stitching, tennis, and watching UCONN Women’s Basketball.
Survivors include three sons, Glen Zamkovsky, Kevin Zamkovsky, and George Zamkovsky, IV; two daughters, Gwen Bowling and Karen Lazzaro; nine grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 12:00p.m. at Old St. Francis Cemetery, 50 Willow Place, Torrington. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
