William "Bill" Kevin Condon

William Kevin “Bill” Condon, 70, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at Litchfield Woods Health Care Center, Torrington.

        Bill was born in Morristown, New Jersey, on August 24, 1952, son of the late Thomas and Mary (Dolan) Condon. Bill attended Boonton High School, Boonton NJ class of 1970 which he was a member of the track and wrestling teams.  After graduation he went on the Mankato State College, Mankato Minnesota.

        Bill loved when spring finally arrived and it was baseball season again. He enjoyed watching baseball with the family, an avid NY Mets fan! He was book smart with a great memory and a trivia wizard, so enjoyed watching “Jeopardy” daily. In his younger years he was an avid left-handed bowler scoring more than once a perfect score that put him in the 300 club!! Bill was also an avid stamp collector and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music.

        He was a special person with unique challenges in this life and dearly loved.

        He is survived by a brother, Dennis J. Condon and his wife, Katherine, of Wakefield, RI; a sister, Kathleen A. Beach of Santa Rosa, CA; a sister-in-law, Linda Condon of Litchfield, CT; and five nieces and three nephews. Bill was predeceased by his beloved brother, Thomas M. Condon.

        Friends may call Monday, November 21, 2022 from 7:00 to 8:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 12:00p.m. at Rockaway Valley Cemetery, 45 Valley Rd., Boonton, New Jersey.
