David Gerena

Torrington- David Gerena, 60, died Friday, June 2, 2017, in his home.

        Mr. Gerena was born in Waterbury on March 22, 1957, son of Antonio and Rose (Bermudez) Gerena, and had been an area resident for most of his life.

        Survivors include two sons, Richard A. Gerena, and Michael D. Gerena; a daughter, Nancy M. Gerena; a brother, Raymond A. Gerena; five sisters, Carmen Davila, Mercedes Gerena, Priscilla Gerena, Aurealee Rios, and Jahayra Laru-Gerena; four grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held privately.
