Tom was a friend of mine since we were teenagers. Whenever I met up with him, ,throughout the years, we would have long conversations. I really enjoyed talking to him and remembering all the fun we had years ago. I am going to miss bumping into him along our travels in years to come. I know when I enter eternal life I will see him again and we will continue our talks......R.I.P. Tom

There is something bittersweet about the passing of your first love. Tommy was mine. All of the memories of us as teenagers fall upon me as the brilliant leaves of fall. Yesterday during my walk at Point Folly, a wind came up and leaves cascaded down as an early snowstorm might.

My children met Tommy who always was there when one of my family members died, and they realized how true a first love remains. Sweet memories of life long ago lived will continue to enter my thoughts and touch my heart until it no longer beats..

Praise God that our Redeemer lives, and we have the promise of eternal life with him and will see those we loved once again.

My heart goes out to Tommy's family who have known his smile, his strength and his love. Cherish the memories. Sweet, sweet are those whom God has placed in our lives for but a season.

Dear Nancy: It goes without saying that your Dad was a good and respected man. First with his unselfish military service to his country, as a provider for his family, as a son, brother, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend etc. He always seemed to be the first one there when ever there was a tragedy in the family and it was always appreciated and respected. He always seemed upbeat and jovial in any family function in spite of many things in this world that perhaps, I'm sure he could never change but probably would have if he could have. Rest in peace Tommie. Your trials and tribulations are over. We are so very sorry for your loss. Your dad , I'm sure was so proud of you for all your help and what a very noble thing it was that you did. When I visited him in the hospital, he spoke fondly of you. Take care and God bless you.
