I had the pleasure of meeting Dick and Sue at the Chamber of Commerce Office in Palm Coast, FL. They had stopped in to pick up some information about the Flagler County area. They mentioned they were from Connecticut and there was an instant connection as I was from Mystic, CT. That was the beginning of our friendship. As a local Realtor I was able to provide them with a lot of information and we began a search for their Retirement Home. They did tell me "we have plenty of time to find the perfect place because we're renting a place in Sea Colony for 3 months!" So we spent 3 months together - laughing and talking while looking at a total of 72 homes. Yes! "72", and the first house they saw was the last house they saw; however Dick said "do you think we can see it again?' So we saw it 3 times before they called it home for good!! Dick kept me laughing and I admired his sense of humor! Their children are blessed to have two parents who are fun, caring and up beat. Once you talk to Dick you have a friend for life! Dick, Thanks for being my lifetime friend!
