Sorry to read about Mr. Burcroff's passing in the LJ. He always was pleasant at Housatonic and willing to give you his time and encouragement. Nice memories!
My warmest regards to the Burcroff family!

Mr. Walter Burcroff was one of the finest, kindest teachers I was fortunate to know and learn from as a young man. I live by many of the principles he instilled in us with regard to patience, focus, and precision in wood and machine work. I credit his example of fostering dedication and organization to ones work and purpose.
Blessings to all of his loved ones,
Paul Church

While I never had Mr. Burcroff as a teacher, I graduated from Housatonic with his son Larry, and one of his granddaughters was a visiting nurse for my Mom, Shirley, at Geer, just over a month ago. I am very sorry to hear of his loss, and send my sincere sympathies to the entire Burcroff family. May his soul, and the soul of all the faithful departed, Rest in Peace.
